I gave them me. REPO I was born a protector. Whatever it took, I did it. Seeing her sitting at the bar, I was drawn to her. Her scars, her bruises, and the light around her.

Without knowing me, she instantly had my back. So it was only fair I had hers. She walked in with the enemy. But there was no way in hell I was letting her walk out with them. Get A Copy. I'm really drawn to broken "She'd been crushed and broken, that much I knew, but she'd come out the other side with beauty, loyalty, integrity, and strength that you can only find by walking through hell a couple of times. I'm really drawn to broken characters and both Repo and Kennedy are beyond broken. Another thing I admire about this author is that she doesn't find it necessary to repair every broken character, sometimes they learn to live with their demons, and that's okay too.

Repo's protectiveness is ingrained deep. When he saw Kennedy for the first time he knew she was not there by choice and he felt an instinctual need to fix her situation. She was with a club enemy, but he knew she didn't belong there. It was at this point that I kinda got a good idea of how he came by his road name.

I was mentally urging him to take her and kick some ass while doing it. Yeah, I so wanted to throw my Kindle upside the head of the club president that was abusing her, but I wouldn't risk damaging it before the end of the story.

Kennedy had my support from the get-go. I was ready to grab a shovel and lend a hand within seconds of meeting the asshole who ruined her. It was heartbreaking to be inside her head and endure what she suffered at his hands. I was tempted to fast-forward to get her out sooner; I never claimed to have patience.

But it was the least I could do to hang with her, she was doing the time, though I felt her pain too. That's another reason I love this author, she makes me feel everything.

I felt fear, rage, admiration, passion, love, and loyalty. She's written some of my favorite characters and I really enjoyed catching up with some of them during this tale. The girl-time and witty banter is always fun and something I look forward to. Nov 25, Leigh rated it really liked it Shelves: bikers , 4-stars , kindle-unlimited.

Kennedy was the first book I have read by Addison Jane but definitely not my last. Although I'm aware that this author has a whole other series and those characters were mentioned in this one, I decided to try Kennedy first. The reasons being that Kennedy is in her situation against her will while in Club Girl Diaries they are there by choice. Now I'm not against woman having lovers, or being sexually free, I didn't know if I could deal with all her lovers in the same room and friends at that.

A Kennedy was the first book I have read by Addison Jane but definitely not my last. Anyway after reading Kennedy I would like to go back and read the other series. So back to Kennedy, I loved it. Yes there were some inconsistencies and it probably could have been a few chapters shorter but overall it was a really enjoyable read to me.

Kennedy is in a situation not of her making but she deals with the hand that was handed to her to protect her younger sister. Repo was awesome, he's a great protector and he's loyal. I loved that he realized quickly that something was wrong with Kennedy and decided to help her. Although he struggles with demons from his own past I loved how he tried to overcome some for Kennedy. I also appreciated the fact that he wasn't miraculously cured by her.

Overall a really enjoyable read and I look forward to more from this author. View 2 comments. It takes a while for them to meet but from that first moment they did I was onboard.

He was possessive without being a dick about it. He wanted to lift her up, n 3. He wanted to lift her up, not hold her down. There were a few eye-rolling moments but I really liked them together. So this was gearing up to be a winner, right until the end showdown. No mention of his injuries at all. Nov 03, Caro Richard rated it it was amazing. The first book for a new chapter of the Brothers by Blood MC Kennedy, my heart broke for her and we are introduced to Repo who has ghosts of his own.

What a man, he made me melt! New faces, old faces but ultimately, family. Friends are the family we choose, and this is what this author captures every time. No returns. Jun 07, Tamara Harrington rated it it was ok.

Nov 01, Jenna rated it it was amazing. This was a terrific first book from a new Brothers by Blood chapter. I loved getting to know some new characters, but no worries Kennedy is one tough chick but with a need for love. And our alpha hero Repo with make you swoon. Phoenix, Arizona, is where she was born.
