Quiet, residential streets, small parks, and pedestrian paths. Village Walk area and Laureate Park area are good anchor points.
You can run for nearly 10 miles along this wide beach, and at mid to low tide, the surface is firm and fantastic for running. See the info on the Disney resorts with jogging trails. Best option is Disney Wilderness Lodge or hotels near there for access to extensive trails there. Another option is to stay near Celebration, toward the southern end of the Disney Resort.

As a geographic layout, the Convention Center is 9 miles southwest of downtown Orlando and the Disney area is about 9 miles southwest of there.
The Convention Center and the Universal Orlando resort are a few miles apart, and there are tons of hotels in the area. There is some decent running along International Drive. The weather in Orlando can be both appealing and unappealing for runners. May through September is very hot and humid, with little relief, and there can be periods of heavy rain. Plan hydration carefully. Orlando is a major leisure and business travel conventions destination, and there is no shortage of hotels.
