Over on the right zone my Griffon puts a few hits in and an Arcanist runs onto the flag so I score to Butcher comes back in again and this time wrecks Imperatus.
Across the board he kills a few more of the Griffons on their last legs and parks both jacks on the right zone within contesting range of the flag. On the left a Devastator sits in the corner of the zone and im looking at not a lot left for me suddenly after the dice desert me.
My opponent has clocked, but we agree to play on with a few minutes on his clock as he had forgotten to switch to me for a portion of my fiddly Feat moves with Imperatus. Vyros has to finish the game in person and charges into Butcher, I buy, and buy and buy…and finally kill Butcher after spending my last focus and he fails his tough check and I take the match.
So I go only losing to Ghost Fleet and the winner of the event, and fittingly along with my medal take home a full art card of Bane Witch Agathia. You are commenting using your WordPress. Ret Deployment I put Imperatus in line with a hill in my zone, Vyros ready to move up behind the building along with the Chimera and the mages on the right to get up behind the wall and be a pain for him to remove.
Khador Deployment The Winterguard and Widowmakers take the right opposite my mages, the Man O War central with the mechanics and Kovnik and Sorcha skews a little towards the left circle zone with the jacks. Ret Turn 1 Imperatus and a pair of Griffons park up on the hill where they can threaten the majority of the left Circle zone and my opponents zone and objective. The Chimera and Vyros move up out of range of any of Khadors guns behind the building, Vyros puts Decel up to further blunt any rockets and the mages move up just outside the zone with some forward Griffons in range to shield guard if I choose to and threaten way behind the right Circle zones boundaries Khador Turn 1 He runs up keeping to the same formation with the jacks just outside of the left zone, the Man O War in the central zone in Shield wall and the Winterguard and Widowmakers again just outside of the right Circle zone fitting as many as possible into the rubble.
Game 2 Spread the Net vs Cygnar Matchup thoughts With the amount of shots that the Sloan list can throw out, the Issyria list that im happy playing into a Hayley dominated Cygnar matchup is out of contention.
I take Vyros2 and, as expected face Sloan across the board. Ret Turn 1 I put up run up the board, putting Imperatus, a Griffon and most of the Battle Mages in the rubble and keeping the support back. Cygnar Turn 1 My opponent goes into the tank to try to work out if hes got the attacks on Vyros to take him down and close the game right now.
Ret Turn 2 I move the mages first to try to drag Runewood close enough to be sidestepped off but leave him 1 inch too far back. Cygnar Turn 2 His warjacks spread out where not engaged to try look for an angle on Vyros not realising how high his stats had crept between Cover and the buff from the Artificer.
Ret Turn 3 The Battle Mages charge the hunter in my zone and beat him back out of the area and the Griffon puts a bunch more damage on it and the nearby Charger. Cygnar Turn 3 With Imperatus in his face and my entire jack wall now engaging his folding gun jacks my opponent looks for a play to score 3 CPs and take the win. Cryx turn 1 Everything runs up, with important pieces staying safe out of range. Ret Turn 1 I run up to position for next turn and hopefully start thinning out the pirates Cryx Turn 2 Gaspy puts up 2 Clouds and advances the Seethers behind them in range to counter charge if I put anything on the edge of the Clouds.
Ret Turn 2 Issy moves up and feats. I score again and both zones remain contested Ret Turn 3 My Chimera apparates ready to move forward and Hyperion advances into the zone and cripples the Arc Node before the Chimera moves in, fails to finish it off but locks it down and stands in the way, on the right I continue to thin down what remains of the pirates and put what magical attacks I can into the incorporeal buggers only slowly managing to trim the unit down.
Ret Turn 4 I clear the majority of the right zone happy that I can ignore the others and try and close the game out. Ret Turn 1 Everything runs up after the Devastators advance move up the centre of the table.
Khador Turn 1 Everything runs up the board, the winterguard move towards the left zone and the metal moves up centrally. Ret Turn 2 I run everything up the table, putting battle mages and a Griffon on the hill on the left and spreading my line of jacks all the way across to the right zone and park an Artificer on the flag ready Khador Turn 2 The Juggernaught and Marauder take spots in the right zone, the Devastators slide forwards right up against the house, with Ruin and the other jacks packed alongside and Butcher behind the lot of them with his dogs.
Ret Turn 3 I want to punch hard and start both the scenario and attrition advantage on this turn. Ret Turn 4 I start with Sylys putting Arcane Secrets on Vyros and him moving to the left zone and throwing a twister onto the Griffon, my shitty dice from earlier in the game offer to make ammends by rolling hot enough to kill every one of the Winterguard clearing the zone and freeing up the Griffon.
Khador Turn 4 Butcher comes back in again and this time wrecks Imperatus. Ret Turn 5 My opponent has clocked, but we agree to play on with a few minutes on his clock as he had forgotten to switch to me for a portion of my fiddly Feat moves with Imperatus. Share this: Twitter Facebook WhatsApp.
